If you get good advice show some love!

I just found out a short time ago after being on this site for almost a year what the little white scale looking things are under the area where your avatar is. If you hold your mouse over them is says "add reputation points". So, if someone gives you good advise and you want to show them love in return, click on the scales and give them reputation points. It will add to the little green boxes under their avatar. Most of you probably already know this (making you way smarter than me). But I just wanted to make sure that people get props for helping others out. So, go out and spread the love!!!!

Unfortunately, not here. However, i know that on vBulletin its standard setting on rep, does have bad and good. But you have the option of turning the bad rep off. And i know why AA did.

Well AA only has good advice from what I've seen! So there's no reason for the bad rep. option.

Not what I was shooting for but thanks. I feel bad about all the good advice I have gotten over the past year and didnt know about the reputation points. I have been trying to go back and hand some out to those that have helped me along the way. I wouldnt have near the success with my tanks that I have were it not for this site and the good people on it!

lol what site are you reading? lol i never seen a site that only has good advice. lol i never really got the whole point of reps. i think people stand on what they have posted before not rep or number of posts. i know there are a lot of very informative people helping on this site.

1> I never thought about that scale thing.

2> have always gotten good advice here and the other site I am on....

...Never have even seen a flame thread.

One of the things I have been learning is that each tank is just a miniature eco-system. What works on my tank might not work the same on yours (well simple things like water changes and such are always good no matter what).

Also just on a side note the "Let's get AA back to the top of Aqua Rank, all it takes is your one vote per day! Click here to vote." At the top of the screen I like clicking on every day or two just cause this is an amazing site.

If I have a question I can usually get an answer within a half hour of posting it.... or at least some advice to get started.
