I've learned quite a bit here and now when I see little fish in bowls, I feel so bad for them. Before I never really gave it a second thought.

I am reading Do It Yourself magazine and they have a project where you make a wall mount fish tank with 4" cylinder vases. At the very end they say, "To ensure your fish keeps on swimming, place only one fish in each vase, feed it, and change the water often.

The fish? Goldfish.

greetings.

yes, it is quiet marvelious how differently you think about something when you are educated about it. you learn to see it from a different angle, instead of seeing fish as a pretty decoration you begin to consider its living conditions.

i remember this happened to me once time in a resturant, where they had an entirely empty tank with fish. sure it had light and was filtered, but no gravel, no plants (Not even fakes) no nothing. i'd sure not want to live there.
