Leopard Gecko

A friend at work's son is completely re-vamping his room and needs to get rid of his Leopard Gecko, complete with tank, light, decor, heat-mat etc.
I have been given first refusal on it for £40, which is a pretty good price.

This site is fairly basic, but gives you a good lowdown :

http://www.Leopard-Gecko.co.uk

Seems they are very easy to keep and have the potential to be a lot of fun. What do you all think, go for it, or not ?

IMO Grant, don't do it.

You are still fairly new to fish, I've seen people expand pet interests too fast and just burn out on the whole thing, get sick of it all and get rid of everything. Besides, you're young, you should be out chasing girls as much as possible!

Stick with us "fishy folk"!

Beleive me Corvus, Football, Fish, Lager, anything in the world doesn't stop me chasing the birdage !! Except my GF that is.

I know what your saying about the rushing thing, but I wouldn't take something on under-prepared. Just £40 was a pretty good price.

Thats why I suggested our Reptile site as there are members over there with experence with these gecko's.

I know that at least two members here are into herps. Chrismac and LoganJ might know something for you over here. Chrismac is an active member over at our Reptile site.

We also have a member who calls herself Fallen Angel over at the Reptile site that is not only into lizards and geckos but is also in the UK.

I would definatly be interested if I was in the UK,

I'm pretty new at keeping geckos actually but really its not all that much to it,
I do a stot cleaning once a day and a full clean out once a month,
not much there, feeding is cheap and easy aswell.
getting a full set up like that is pretty good
leopord Geckos here are like 100. bucks each, then the set up its probley double that.
