Hey everyone,
I am really interested in learning more about marine biology. So, I wondering if anyone on here who has read good marine biology books, or is a marine biologist, what books you would recommend?

Marine Biology subjects:
Ichthyology
Reef Ecology
Algae

Thanks in advance!

Its been a long time since saltwater and this book may be a little outdated but you can look it up. Its called

Marine Reef aquarium Handbook by Dr. Robert J. Goldstein

If i remember right that book is very advanced on the way it was wrote just to warn you.

I read FIsh Biology by Helfman, Colette, Facey and Brown and Invert Zoology by Ruppert, Fox and Barnes in college. Both have interesting info on physiology, ecology and behavior of fishes, coral, Gastropods, mollusks, bivalves, polychaetes, etc
