It looks like we have about 3 inches on the deck, and it's still snowing. My car was covered, but it's not sticking to the roads yet.

Yay!!! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!!

Well I tell ya what, it has been very wimpy snow wise here for the last several years. As long as it is gonna get cold here in IA, I say might as well have a buncha snow.

I wonder what this winter will bring... last year we didn't even break the snowmobile out ONCE. Now that is pitiful.

Still snowing here - it took me 2 hours to drive 21 miles home. The one great thing about snow... it makes everything look fresh and clean (for the first hour or so)

Didn't realise you were so close to me drinkingbird! I'll bet it took you 2 hrs to get those 21 miles....took hubby and I almost 2 hrs to get from Ossining to Elmsford.

And I just flew in from Puerto Rico. I should have stayed the weekend. It took me 4 hours to get home from JFK. That's how long the flight was. Snow is great as long as you don't have to drive in it. Especially on Long Island!!!!
