I can't wait for the movie either, from the previews I've seen they are trying to rescue Nemo from a tank, so maybe it will have an opposite effect on the kids and they won't want Nemo in the tank? Just a thought, my two boys can't wait to see it either

My sons are getting too old (13 and 15) to think that animated movies are cool so I either have to bribe them or go solo. I WILL be in line for Nemo with or without kids to hide behind! :P

I predict it will have the same effect on fish ownership that Toy Story had on toy ownership. What I mean is that the underlying store of TSII was that people should play with their toys and not collect them. I think the adults got this, but it went completely over the heads of all the kids that saw it. They just had a fun time. And I haven't heard of any dramatic drops in toy collecting.

Similarly I think the parents are going to see the story of how taking fish from the ocean environment and keeping them in a small tank is sad, (Not my personal belief just the one posed in the movie) but this idea will go over the heads of most kids. And ultimately fishkeeping will remain unchanged.

Holy Crap, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Bert n' Ernie are the bomb. Yes, I never watch either, but they are still so cool.

My favorite TV show is and will always be Alf, he was good until he became a wanna-be carrottop

I have a really old "Cookin With Alf" stuffed animal that was from a burger king promotion thing. Heard it can fetch a pretty penny.
