My son called yesterday morning, a few minutes after 7.."hey mom, can you take us to the hospital..pains are 3-5 apart." (sure, no problem, 3rd child and the hospital is over an hour and 20 minutes away),,gather them, haul *ss doing between 70-80 all the way,hazard lights flashing. Pass a total of 7 assorted police variety from sherrif, state trooper and local guys, not a one is curiuos as to why I am speeding like crazy through their little towns...go figure.
We get to the hospital, they go into the ER, I park, get inside, sit in a chair and hear them page labor and delivery to the ER. Two minutes later my son comes out and says 8 lbs 13 oz boy! The doctor told him if I had gone 60, baby would definitely have been born in the car..I have cream colored upholstery, glad it wasnt  Kind of an exciting day, mom and baby are doing well. |
