No more dial up!!!

Finally, finally, FINALLY I found the DSL deal I've been waiting for! The equipment came in the mail the other day and the SBC person came over today to do whatever it is they do when you get DSL. I know cable is better but this is only $14.95 per month, what a steal!

SWEET

and

AWESOME

also come to mind. WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

(just had to share.)

Congrats Severum! I am still using the slow dial-up at home, that's why I don't post as much during the weekend. I can't believe you have it for $14.95! It's like $60 here unless you get Verizon (local phone carrier) and they never have any slots open. The dred of living in a college town, everyone wants dsl. Congrats!

I get 6000 kbps on dsl (usualy 4900), but still, better than cable around here. You still get it cheaper tho.

This is great!!! Now I can actually enjoy the internet, instead of just getting frustrated at dial up. And I'm able to download music to put on my mp3 player.... I mean legal music of course- a lot of my favorite bands like the Dead, Phish, Cheese, etc. have an open trading policy for audience recordings of their shows. I've already gotten 4 more Phish shows since last night! Last time I tried this on dial up it took over 10 hours, and now it's done in like 15 minutes. Yaaaayyyyy!

Now I can NEVER go back! :P
