Overpriced feeder

Was just browsing stuff, trying to find some new expensive thing to buy , when I saw this as a hot item on the ADA website. It is a glass fish food feeder that looks like it is hand held, and priced at $75. Is it just me or is that a little overpriced for what it is.

Yeah, it's silly. But that's the nature of the hobby, they slap brand names on stuff and charge exorbitant prices for things. Some are more justifiable than others.

I always just used a turkey baster to feed fry and fish at the bottom of the tank , $1.00 at the dollar store

Lol, sounds like that's doing the same thing for $74 less.

Also, do you think people actually buy it? It was listed as a hot item

Maybe they make their employees buy it.

Plus, how would we disprove whether it is a hot item or not? They probably just said it was a hot item to get hype around it XD

A turkey baster is also more useful in that you can clean up stuff around the tank with it, and polish your plants with a few water gusts.

I can tell you that it's easy enough to make any item a 'hot item' on a storefront listing. Marketing is great isn't it?
