You can fill canister filters with live rock? Does it make it like a refugium? I have bio balls in mine. And some little ceramic tubes

Just looked them up and found that they are 150-200$ for 12-20 gallon tanks! How about fluval chi?

I think i would stock a 5g with
Fish:
1 orange clown goby
1 ocellaris clown fish
1 cleaner shrimp
3 peppermint shrimp
3 pink margarita snails
1 emerald crab
4 red legged hermit crabs

Corals:
3 zoanthids
2 ricordea mushrooms
4 green star polyps
2 leather corals
2 kenyi trees

Very true, i was planning to have the tank in my room, really dont wanna wake up to a snap every night! Lol. Any thing besides gobys?

Ugh!!!!! The 20g still has ich!!!!!! I will never buy from petsmart again! Well guess its back to water changes and dosing blue chemicals! found one of the neons scrapeing against the drift wood alot...
