I used to always say krib-en-sis too, until one day the lfs lady got all puffy about it.

I'm pretty sure she corrected me to krib-en-zies, but I can's recall for sure...all I remember is her scaring me...

Hehe, the "LFS lady" (as the persona is now known) is usually a scary one. Mine totally dictates my stocking, my tanks and my setups. I've actually gone off going there and my friend rarely goes anymore. E.g. cichlids: I wanted 2 males + 6 female pseudotropheus saulosi to reduce aggression. Oh no, she orders in 4 pairs (turns out to be 5 males, so they didn't even get that right!) because she thinks thats best.
I mean, there's informing your customer/making sure fish are going to a good home, and then there's customer service

Rant over!

I know, why don't we call 'em kribs an then we'll never get told off!

What can I say, I'm just a posh Brit :P

I guess in an American accent it would be: multi-radiators ?

Here's a couple that've been bothering me:

Neolamprologus

Brichardi
(I've heard both bri-kard-ee and bri-shard-ee)

I always thought Brichardi was bri-kard-ee.

No clue about the other one.
