Puppymill Petition

People who love animals, please take a few seconds to sign this petition.... http://www.petitiononline.com/ca071204/petition.html (The following is taken from an e-mail that I just received off the UNT Feral Cat Rescue Group listserv.) For those of you who have not signed the Pikeville, KY Puppymill Abuse Petition, please do so. The trial is on 11-8-04. This petition will be presented to the Judge and the Court in hopes of permanent custody of these poor animals. This is the breeder who had 121 animals, some of whom were found dead, disposed of in the creek behind his home or cruelly BURNED in his back yard. One had been tied to a tree and appeared to have simply starved. So please help us put this monster of out the breeding business. Just in case anyone thinks their signature won't matter if you don't live in Kentucky, remembe r that the risk of national humiliation is great. The more this is circulated, the more PR that's created and the greater the chance of making a huge difference. People who mistreat, neglect, and abuse animals can't be let off with a slap on the hand if the whole country is watching. Thank you all so much. If you would be so kind to forward this to family and friends I'd be grateful. We have an up hill battle with this miller. The judge hearing this case is also a BREEDER!
