What kind of filter do u have? I knw a canister will work as a pump to drain water. Now I have heard people do the same with a aquaclears filter.

I have 2 HOB filters, an emperor 400 and an aquaclear.

Hmmm good idea! Thing I can run it into my sump pump and have it pumped out from there?

I must be the odd man out, I like buckets, it's a good workout plus all my tanks are under 30 gallons. : )

P.S. I have the aqueon which is nice on occasion, maybe i just like being arm deep in my tanks for a few hours.
