| road rage..venting I have had the WORST driving day. I have a very small car, a geo, and a small child that rides in the car with me. While stopped at a red light behind a bunch more people, This very BAD person in a very LARGE van pulls out into the road at the SIDE of my car and creeps closer and closer, trying to push me into making room, where there was none. So I look over and the guy is gesturing at me to move. I had no where to go. The light finally turns green and when the cars start to move he cuts off the person behind me and roars around my car (on the right side) in the intersection!!! I have never been so mad in my life. All I could think is I have a CHILD in the car!! What is wrong with people?? I would have glady let this person in if they had pulled in more towards the front of my car, but they were literally looking in my side window. UUUHHHH!! |

| Drives you nuts doesn't it?! I drive a truck for a living...specifically I haul hazardous chemicals and you wouldn't believe what some folks will do to get past me. I mean, how stupid do you have to be to cut in front of a tanker load of sulfuric acid! I especially love it when they come flying around me and cut in so close that I lose sight of them because of the hood on the truck. Then I have to tap my brakes because I can't tell if they have slowed down or not (classic move: cut the truck off, jam on your brakes and make a turn). This causes the liquid in the tank to surge and when that surge hits the front of the tanker, I get a minor case of whiplash.
What kind of GEO do you have? Mine is a Metro. If it park it next to another Metro, they look like a pair of roller skates sitting there .

| I know there is a whole list of driving habits of people that get me. The best is the person who will make an illegal pass, usually over a double yellow line, and then make an exit. If not 9 times out of 10 you wind up passing them, because you know the mountain road better then them.
I had this one incident where a car full of teenagers made an illegal pass on a blind curve, they had not a clue, what was in front of them, if it was a rig they would have been toast. It should have been a patrol, but they were lucky that time.

| I have a Mazda Miata, and most large truck type vehicles look right OVER me. I also ride a motorcycle, and you know how you always hear that people dont see motorcycles, well it is also true for small cars. Now yours was seen and the guy was just being a jerk, so many of them have the mentality that "Im bigger...they'll move" its those people that make me vow to never own a baseball bat. My hubby is a manager for UPS and is always giving me driving lessons...(then I threaten to nuter him and he shuts up ) but one important lesson that he did teach me was, always leave yourself an out. at intersections dont get so close that you cant get your vehicle out of the current spot. yadda yadda yadda... oh yes...and ketsup on french fries thrown out the sun roof makes tail gaters slow dowm |

| Melody, the Miata isn't a car, it is a motorcycle with a car body thrown on top. |

Im not angry, just a little defensive... |
