Had we not started breeding them selectively , goldfish would have stayed the color they were in the wild ,

A) orange

B) white

C) brown

D) green

A orange. I've seen videos of people catching big gold fish and they were orange but I'm sure you could find them in any of those colors in the wild

The closest genetic match to a gold fish is the Prussian carp.

So choosing...white(closest to silver?), orange, green, and brown. Since vary between pure silver to hints of gold.
