Sand or Gravel?

Im about to set up my 150 gal. And was wondering what's best? Have heard sand isn't due to not being able to vacuum it and let's alot of toxins hide under it. I have gravel now! PLEASE HELP

i like sand alot better, and my siphon works fine for vacuuming the gravel

Sand is not cement you can vacuum it. I like sand.

So my python wont suck it up? I want black sand.
