I am guilty of these novelty pico settings, but mine involve plant arrangement and 3 water changes daily, and they also have decorative rotation in several tanks.... Am I a bad person? Research the betta and where they are from- they need to breathe air from the surface and don't require LARGE TANKS, but without them they are A LOT OF WORK.

It's not so bad. I mean add a filter, heater, some plants, and make it 15x bigger an you got a decent tank

My daughter said it would be cute to let him watch open presents on Christmas day in it, take a pick, then put him back in his real tank! Oh the fun child...
