I keep cold-water marine aquariums. Pacific NW species mostly. The only fish in any of my cold water tanks that I haven't collected myself is the blackeyed goby.

Thanks! The kelp grows almost as fast as the hermits rip it off the rocks... Lol. I think once I upgrade my lights the kelp may get the upper hand.

What pipefish is that?

It's a Bay Pipefish. I've had this guy for a little over 4 months now. (I've got 5 bay pipefish in total). They are great fish, not shy at all, and have lots of character. They are definitely one of my favorites, even though I have to hand collect amphipods for them to eat.

I collect amphipods once a week usually. It's only about 5 miles from my house, so it's not a big ordeal. But I have had to collect them in rainstorms and in 20 degree weather a few times. I sure love my fish. Lol.
