Silly, semi-disgusting question--

So, in the course of your aquarium hobby,

How Much Aquarium Water have you ingested (swallowed, usually starting a siphon)????

In the days before i had a python water changer (and even now when i'm just doing a small change and use a regular siphon) I figure I must have ingested at least a gallon of ol' dirty aquarium water!!

BWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAAAA!!

Come on folks, now 'fess up, how much have you ingested by accident?

Well with salt water you really dont want to swallow. I have gotten some salt water in my mouth at times and I say I prefer to SPIT vs Swallow

More than I wanted to. Maybe a tiny sip here or there. Goes pretty well with most red meats.

I always just fill the tube with tap water, put one end in the tank and the other end below the tank, take my thumbs off, and waaa laaaa, suck free siphon. So I havent drank aquarium water.

Then you ain't lived yet, Michael!!

Especially if you were using the siphon, then lose it and have to restart, there's always the really gunky stuff in the tube!

I am in the silliest mood today! :P :P

Totally sober too!

The secret is to turn up your aqaurium to about 90 degrees and drink a nice hot cup of poop water. I hear it's a delicacy in France.
