I've been a Star Trek fan since the show first went on the air back in 1966. I was a sophomore in high school, and I fell madly and forever in love with Captain Kirk. (Still think he's handsome today, even older and overweight!)

So sad about Scotty...he had the best lines in so many of the shows. But he was middle-aged back then in the 60s, so I wasn't truly surprised to find out he'd died at 85 almost forty years later. Time does fly, indeed.

I have the entire original tv series on tape. Maybe it's time to go watch some of it again!
