Welp I noticed my filter tray in my aquaclear had risen up so I go over to push it back down an when I do, a black snake like animal shoots out of the media. I'm throughly confused by now cause this is jumping around my filter like frog legs introduced to salt. Low and behold one of my black khuli loaches made the track up in my filter? Like I don't every under how it avoided the impeller as it was set to fully on? Like how did it even survive?

Just want to share that strange occurrence khuli loaches really need to be introduced into the Olympics

That's funny, and one lucky loach. This happened to my dragon goby not too long ago. He swam up the pick up tube in my canister filter and managed to survive for approximately a week before I found him.

No kidding, it sure gave me a fright. I'm still confused bout how it lived through it but alas this will be something I will never know

Make sure he breeds with other khulis. Those genes need to get passed down!
