"Super crabby week" is over.

I hereby dub last week as "Super crabby week" (June 7th through June 12th) and I am glad that it is over, and this is a new week. Last week it seemed like every day there was people crabbing at me or others about stuff, or mad about something or something going wrong. Maybe it was just me but something was definitely WRONG during that week. Even my friend's volleyball get-together ended in shambles this weekend. People at work were mad about stuff. Shipments went awry. I got a haircut that sucked. I got a cold too.

Yes as always it was not ALL bad and I do count my blessings and trials make you sweeter, etc. etc. But man it was just plain poopy.

ANyone else have a bust of a week, last week?

Mine definitely was. I have a buyer who is going to close on our old house next week, but the home inspection revealed that 1) our brand new roof was not code compliant, and 2) surprise- there is a leaking underground fuel oil tank that has to be excavated out, $5000.00!

Last week was definitely not good for me, but it looks like things are going to work out - the DEQ is going to reimburse us for the majority of the costs of removing the tank (the previous owner and the original owner knew nothing of this tank when I called them ) and we pressured the roofing company to babysit the roof and repair any damages that occur from lack of freeze paper. I don't like paying for 2 houses at once, so last week was one big stomach ache while I fretted over the sale going down the toilet, but I am going to be optimistic that this week is going to be better!

Q: What is the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut? A: 2 weeks.

I had a decent week last week, but I kept staying up too late and wanting to sleep in. Then on Saturday and Sunday when I could sleep in and not worry about anything, I was wide awake at 8 am Now, here it is Monday, I stayed up too late last night, and my fiance made me get up at 8:15 (yes, I know that is considered late by most people ). Just as I was settling in with my cereal and checking out AA, the power went out
Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrr
Okay, I got ready, made lunch and helped my fiance get the two battery powered airpumps set up on the biggest tanks (we had to cut tubing and find the airstones). We set them up and 5 mins later as we headed out the door, the power came back on We left the airpumps running just in case.

Not the best start to this week. Plus, by etiquette standards, our wedding invitations should be sent out by next Monday and I haven't started them. *SIGH*

krap, you should know by now, plus when I PM you, I sign with my real name, not handle
In addition, from content, you can tell I am female because I have a fiancé (the male version). IF I were male, I would have a fiancée (the female version).
My fiancé is into fish also, which allows us to have 6 tanks up and running. There are no more outlets for filters, heaters or lights, so we are stuck with 6 tanks for a while (or until I make another impulse buy).
You can tell when people post by looking above the post and reading the date and time the post was made. Above my last post, it reads, “Posted: Mon Jun 14, 2004 10:18 am.”
The wedding invites are coming along—we just got back from the lab, where we used a GOOD printer to do some labels. Tomorrow, I will print the invites and then I have a couple of days to emboss them. Then off they go, which means I will be disappointing people come August 21, if I don’t show up. *feeling a little overwhelmed and need to lie down*
