Stand/equip/gravel/ the lot plus 2 large fancy goldfish which will be traded in to the local mom and pop lfs I support when possible vs the box stores. I don't do goldfish.

Hope I didn't overspend but seemed 150 a good deal since the stand alone is 179 @ petsmart .

Well as is often the case the stand isn't in great shape but useable. The tank is a 2 year old (prev owner says) marineland I believe ( black sealant ) and was NASTY. Encrusted in algae, hard water buildup, snails etc. so after looking after the stand best I could and bleach water cleaning of the tank ( hours of ornament cleaning an filter cleaning ahead of me. I am hoping the bleach will kill the snails. The gravel is in 2 5 gallon buckets soaking in bleach water. Yes I'll have to cycle a "new" tank but I can't risk the snail infestation to use the old filter media. Anyway got with tank:

Stand - avg to poor state

Hoods and lights - doing COMPLETE down to unwiring ballast etc and bleaching what I can .

Marineland 200 watt heater (never opened)

Various testing supplies, food SMS meds.

Ornaments - large 35.00 so at chain stores 2x

3x small plastic plants

1x topfin 60 filter - nasty nasty but look new under the gross

1x whisper 30 - nasty also new looking under the yuck

Brand new Aqueon Betta Mini Bow 2.5 Gallon Aquarium Starter Kit and Betta - this was thrown at me on the way out here have this too!

For all this extra cleaning ( bAh) I paid 150.00

Also a whisper 60 and whisper 100 dual outlet air pumps of that new Dome design. I have a 60 I bought from petco didn't use yet (cost 33 per tax) don't need it now! So will be taking that back for refund.

I might have missed it but how big is the tank? I like it. I think $150 is not a bad price at all.

Yes Marineland 55 build by tag says built by DMP April 2007 so even accounting for warehousing stocking etc before retailer I think her stated 2 years old is prob more like 4. Also she stated oh I never cleaned it Lol. Yes. I can tell. That's why everything marinating in bleach. This WILL kill the snails in the substrate correct??

it doesn't matter how much you pay. if YOU think it's a good deal, it's a good deal. from the pictures the stand looks nice. i know you don't do gold fish but they are beautiful! good luck
