Yes, my husband's family, actually. He grew up in Phoenix. We have been bad about coming out there to see those folks so this year we promised we would not miss it! The first time I visited Phoenix it was August ( ) and I am telling you I was not prepared for that kind of dry heat! We suffer through dreadfully hot, humid "cut the air with a knife" kind of summers here on the East Coast, but there I thought I was going to turn into a puff of dust any minute! What's the weather like there in Feb?

OMG, August is the worst possible month to be here, TG ! It's our hottest month of the year, and it's not abnormal for it to get up to 110*.

February will be awesome ! It's nice and cool, the air is really crisp, highs in the 60s, lows in the 30s or 40s. Snow on the mountains.

they where when i lived in BC, one was one on one of the clifts near hells gate and the other was at whistler, the climbs where very fun and a little freaky looking down but well worth the view
