I have a theory and was wondering if it could be possible. Does anyone think a change in atmospheric pressure could affect a tank. Because I live in Scotland and the weather at the moment is constantly changing. Is this possible? Or am I just being crazy?lol

Not really ...:nono: If the air pressure is dropping, that means the air is rising because it is less dense than cooler air. On earth's surface this results when air gets warmer thus it expands and becomes less dense, or the air is becoming more humid. Water vapor decreases air pressure since water molecules "weigh" less than air molecules (O2 / N2).

Scotland runs along the 60N latitude which is a low pressure zone where air naturally rises which helps explain why the UK area is so often cloudy, which constantly changing weather.

An aquarium is too small to be affected by changing air pressure due to weather.
