This is amazing!

Sand fantasy takes time to load but is worth it. She has other videos as well. [acronym:445ba25f16="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:445ba25f16] I can't draw that well with paper and pencils!

That medium is cool to watch. I personally like the guy who did the 2003 SICAF animation festival a little better though. His performance can be seen here (warning: large file - but well worth it).

His official site is here...

http://www.cakostudio.hu/

Neat stuff. Whoever thought that sand and an overhead projector could be used as tools for an artform?

hmmm I actually like the first link better. Had more detail and a finer touch, [acronym:3c54cd4a2c="In my opinion"]IMO[/acronym:3c54cd4a2c].

but for both regardless! Thanks for the links

I did some more searching online for this stuff. Wikipedia has a short blurb about it...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sand_animation

Google had some entries on it, but a lot of it refers to stop motion photography of it instead of the "live performance" type stuff.
