Funny you should ask that...because it just happens to tell me on my desk calender. I have the Uncle John's Bathroom Reader calender. It basically gives you fact, stories, weird news, etc.

It states:

Today is Canada Day

You don't get the day off? I get July 5th off, even though the equivilent US day, July 4th, is Sunday.
