There you go, making me cry so early in the morning. 
That was so touching.
I have always been afraid of birds (probably because my grandmas parakeet bit me a few times when I was young...I deserved it as I was poking my fingers at her through the cage but it drew blood more than once!)
But they hold such a mystique I think they are such incredible creatures...the first time I saw a bald eagle in person my jaw dropped...they are so huge and impressive. Now I get to see them frequently here in the mountains of Montana they are really awe inspiring. We have several kinds of eagles here and other large birds they are so neat!
