Tourettes - Aquarium Advice

Hey Y'all!

I have tourettes syndrome, (as well as OCD, ADHD, Anxiety disorder), I get panic attacks, anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows anyone that has this disorder? I've only met one other person that has TS, and it's supposed to be pretty common,... lol

and FYI, I don't randomly swear words outloud, I hate when people post that on youtube and stuff, it makes us looks really silly, we're not that bad,..

I have a friend that has it and before I met her I thought the youtube tourettes was what it actually was. Just goes to show, not everything on the internet is true. xD

from what I read it takes on many forms.

I work with a lady that has it. It is only facial ticks for her. They tend to be more when she is nervous or upset.

Ya, that happens with me too, I have motor and vocal tics, (shaking and noises) but they mostly happen when my anxiety is bad,

I've had it for 6-7 years already, well, that's when I was diagnosed anyways lol

Can tourette's actually get as bad as the screaming/swearing? I know it's usually ticks but do those jokes actually come from truth? I've never seen anyone with more than ticks, it would have to be a pretty extreme case.

Um, I yell louder sometimes, but I don't actually "scream", and when I do swear, it's not a fully comprehendable word, it's more like a mumble, cuz I don't want people to get mad ^^
and ya, it would have to be a pretty extreme case in my opinion,

I did have a friend when I was a kid that would scream out abscenities about every 5 or 10 minutes. He would let out a stream of them and them be quiet. He was a very extreme case and was eventually put on meds that kept it to more of a minimum. I havent had contact with him for years so I dont know how he is now.
