Two filter 1 tank?

Hey guys I would like to know if it is ok to put 2 filters in one tank. My current tank is a 55 gal nano. My current filter pumps 237 gals an hour. I have discus. I would like to know if I could put in a filter that pumps 400 gals an hour into my tank thanks guys
