Vegetation Identification

There are two "plants" in the landscaping that I am very curious about because I don't know what they are.

This is the first:

The plant as a whole:

Close-up of the flower (kinda looks like a rose???? maybe???)

The second one:

The plant/bush as a whole (the leaves are quite big)

Close-up of something - (this is in the middle of the leaf bunches):

If anyone knows, and can just let me know, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
