I gave my lfs the hoods that came with my 60g aquarium.
In return I received 5 CPOs and an elephant-nose fish.
Good deal or bad deal?

If thats what your were looking for then the value is totally based on how much you enjoy your new additions and how little you need the lights you had. Monetarily though with the trade you got about $50-60 worth of merchandise depending on the standard price of what you received, so as long as you're happy than it was worth it.

I sell adult unsexed CPOs for $10 each plus shipping. I'd say you got a really good deal, especially since it was just equipment you didn't want anyway.

Yea the hoods were just setting in the closet. And the lfs had told me he would sell the cpos for $12 each. And the elephant nose was gonna be $15
