I had two dwarf hamsters for a while in my classroom. One was very sweet, would let anyone hold her and touch her, she was a great classroom pet. The other one was a terror and would bite at no provocation. Which one had the longer life? The mean one. I only got them because someone donated them to me, I prefer rats.
