Okay, it does really make the shrimp pop!!! That is why everyone does black sand... Watch the mini cycle.

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

On a side note... dang those shrimp are in the middle of everything going on. It took 3 hours to minimize casualties....

The black sand looks really great. Your pictures always seemed like they had a light filter, but this looks very crisp. Love it.
