So, I decided to take another video to show of the babies a little better. I'm sorry my hands were shaking a bit.

BABIES!

The adult fish are still pale, I think it's because they're now on a white substrate as opposed to a black one (which is where they were to begin with.)

They started getting snippy with each other, so I think this evening I'm going to put papa fish back into the other tank so there's less stress on the fish.

Turned the lights on for the plants. Saw the other leaf fish come out and play, so I know he's alive. Hasn't quite gotten to the "OH you feed me at this point in the day, so I'll wait like my brother." I'm sure he'll get there.

I need a bottom feeder for this tank though. I know the loaches are bottom feeder-esque, but they're kinda covering midrange. I need something to eat shrimp pellets that the leaf fish miss so I don't have to keep fishing them out... Any suggestions?

Not done much today, finally a day without doing pwc! Trimmed back plant's in Gonzos tank some where restricting the flow.
Found 3 dead shrimp over the last 2 day's rubbish! Don't understand my filter feeders are molting fine?
My bristlenose baby is finally settling in saw him feed last night phew!

Called the fish store today about sick fish. Fed the fish twice and watched them. I like the new look of my tank.

Ruutah, totally would use cories, but the leaf fish will most likely eat them.

Tmaier, where would I find a kuhli loach? Are they picky? I may have to add more hiding places if I go with him. Would they get along with the leaf fish? What about everyone else? How big do they get? Guess I should research, but I figured I'd ask our resident expert.

I am no expert on Kuhli's. I had to call around two different stores to find the ones I wanted. Lots of stores have the black ones but I really wanted the stripes. I started out with five. They have always gotten along with everyone. Some hide more than others. But they definitely like options.


29g fresh with Betta, Kuhli's, Neons, Denison Barbs, ADF, Mystery and Nerite Snails.

Some plants: Anubias, Java Fern, mosses and other misc.

8g Biorb with Betta and plants.

10g Mystery Snail Nursery

5g Plant grow tank with Pink Ramshorn Snails

Added extra media to one of the filters in the boraras tank there seemed to be room so added more ceramic ring's. Found 2 more dead shrimp, that's been 4 or 5 in 2 day's added extra Epsom salt so we'll see.
New bristlenose is doing great , that's one positive thing!

Haven't done much aside from feeding so far this week. I'm due for pwc on every tank. Also plan to run a peroxide treatment on my betta tank.

I've managed to talk one of my workmates into setting up an aquarium at home. I will have to part with one of my 9 empty tanks though. Despite knowing I am soon going to tear down 3 tanks when I set up my big tank I still feel sad whenever I escort a tank out of my house for the last time.

Bristlenose doing well except for the fact he keeps ripping his fins!
We named him Finlay lol
