Just got the nikon d20 slr here. love that camera, easy to use in all the modes, including the manual settings, nice easy to navigate menus, 6.1 mp, and with the interchangeagle lenses you can get what you want for each shot. I generally run a 18 to 55 mm lens for anything close up(got to keep my old lenses from my nikon n55 which was a bonus) or for far off shots i use the 70 to 300 mm with a 2x converter.

the finepix is fine for a point and shoot digital camera. if you like the slr cameras nikon and canon are by far the best on the market i think
