I believe the saltwater master is similar to the freshwater master kit which contains: PH, PH (high range), ammonia, nitrite, nitrate.
The reef master kit contains: calcium, KH, phosphate, nitrate

I personally would not use API for saltwater not very accurate at all.

Look at

Salifert
Red Sea
Elos

The last two being the more accurate but Salifert is plenty good enough for a majority of testing
