What's your definition of an aquarium?

I know my definition is pretty general... the term fits the definition better than the definition fits the term. So what's yours? And try to stay away from "a glass box that holds water" etc.

A glass box that holds water where fish swim. Lol kidding...

I'd say it's like an ecosystem in your home, a box of life

I suppose it's a habitat that I design and help control and one I want to look at as often as possible.
Think that's why I'm always making changes? Big and small. Also why I'm always planning my next aquarium.
Great question to ponder.
