Who's Excited? ME! Yankees vs. Mets game!

One of the guys I work for has season tickets to the Yankees. Each year he lets me pick a game and gives me the tickets for free. I was looking at the schedule, and on Friday June 24th they are playing the Mets! I have never been to a Subway Series before, so I am super excited!!!

I've been to at least one of the Shea games pretty much every year since they started interleague (i missed 2003)

I don't know how it is in the Bronx, with most Yankee fans being subhuman tools and all, but at Shea the experience is just amazing. I think anyone who is even remotely a baseball fan should go to an NY/NY game some time just for the experience.

I'm excited fro you that you get to see what all the fuss is about, you'll love it.

I absolutely resent being called "sub-human" Us Yankee fans (especially those who reside in the Bronx) are just fans...that's all. The media and other lack luster poor performing teams have painted this picture and everyone has fallen for it. Ok, I will admit the "Bleacher Bums" are pretty scary (even us "normal" folk try to stay away from them).

Didn't mean to offend...I said most, so of course present company is excluded. I don't need the media or anyone else to tell me what's what when it comes to Yankees fans...I lived most of my life in NY so I know how you guys are!

Actually, you didn't! Just a little poke at the Met's fans so we can get this rivalry started the right way. Plus, us Yankee fans are always in denial anyway...how else can we explain losing four in a row to Boston????

The Moose (Mike Mussina) is pitching most likely. He was my favorite when he played for the Orioles. Going against Pedro Martinez. Should be a great matchup! You got lucky with the rotation, I'd say.

Have fun!
