Wild mice

Anyone here keep them? We have two at work and I feed them some of my cream cheese muffin

Um...no. The risk of hantavirus, however small, is just not worth it....I don't want anything that has a mortality rate of significantly more than 50%.

Some infested our home.. would be willing to take them to a shelter, but the cats got rid of them..

It's funny, they weren't declawed, but kept their claws retracted, carefully batting at them whenever they didn't move, but didn't chase them. Eventually they just went away - we never found a dead mouse.

I had an older cat (10+ years in age), without front claws... and he had lost most of his teeth. He was one of the best mousers! He trapped a mouse and killed it and even drew blood. Not quite sure how... What a good cat!

Hantavirus is spread via microscopic particles of dried fæces and urine floating in the air, usually near wherever the mouse has its nest.
