You can ballpark 76 degree water from a tap by feel...

you set up a new dedicated aquarium when you find something in your main aquarium that doesn't belong there.

If you can't decide what type of fish to get so you just get all the ones you want and set up more tanks.

You set up a larger tank to cut down on the number you have active, And before you're even finished you and your wife are planning that ten gallon nano-reef tank for infront of her desk seeing as now you have a tank free.
