you might be an aquarium nerd if...

- if you read through the whole of this thread !

- if searching for the right second-hand aquarium on ebay you start at “+/- 5 miles”, and 4 hours later it's “anywhere in UK”. By the end of the day you realise something bigger may be better so you start all over again. [And think it's weird that the seller’s selling the tank ‘because they’ve upgraded.’ Who’s the weirdo?]

- I used to live in the Alps so if I was going near the LFS I'd pack a handwarmer for ski gloves in the car, or a hot water bottle with warm water in... just in case.

- I know that on more than one occasion I've spent far too long trying to convince a friend that a particular fish has a great personality.

That last one lol that's me. My mom thinks my Jack Dempsey is a stone cold killer. She's fully of personality though.

What size tank?! Floor joists are 2×10s(IME)that are very hard to break!

A fishnerd is some who in all there free time in and out of school research fish and trying to work fish into everything they do. I am working on a technology project that needs to be built out of recyclables and I am making a Betta tank out of a washed 1 gallon clear jug. I just have to figure out decorations made out of recyclables.
