Alright, it's been a while.
And I'm thinking of coming back to the hobby

I am thinking of doing a 10 gallon planted tank with a pair of German blue rams or agazzisi and a small school of ember tetras

Corys if possible
Is this tank overstocked? Should I go canister?
Is a canister quiet?

Plant ideas?
Definately Anubias and java fern
Carpet Plants?

Would love to hear from you guys

Rams fit the tank size better then Apistos..
IMO the Apistos need more room as they are more active swimmer in search for food.
Rams need to be 82+ , so IMO for cories I would suggest Sterbai .
I have a couple pairs in their own 10 g and they do very well. But they are only fish in the tank.
I am Aquaclear for filters so have no input on canister filters.
An AQ30 would work fine for a 10g.

Thanks for the advice, I am having the tank in my room, so I don't think the hang on is a viable option as they are a little loud. But the rest of your advice is very helpful.
