wow wow wee....very very nice....don't worry about the cloudiness. it will pass by...so many cool plants....woohoo...

I finally picked up some beautiful driftwood for the tank today after looking and looking and looking for a good fit. Pretty sure the inhabitants of this tank are going to be a pair of dwarf cichlids with a few companions. I'm dying to get some fish in here!!!!

I'm having a minor planaria and diatom crisis at the moment, but I'm sure they'll go away. It happened in my 10gal with no foul side effects other than ugly spots in pictures.

I also bought a new HOB filter - Aquaclear 50 because it was on sale. As soon as it cycles, I'll move the old stock filter off this tank to my 10gal, and the 10gal's stock filter to my (new) 5gal nano bowfront (probably going to be a shrimp tank, since they're cute little buggers and I never see them in my CPD tank). Then I'll have at least 2x recommended filtration on all my tanks. Yay.

Updated tank shot... ignore the critters on the glass... and the diatoms... and the cloudiness from stirring things up earlier. I feel like my tank is never in perfect photo condition since I'm always changing something lol.

Thanks, Fort. I can't wait to get a background on this to make it look even sharper.

Yes, that will make it pop even more. It really is a nice collection of plants. I can't wait to see it when you get the diatoms fixed, and the sand settles a bit.

wow I love your DW mel....i hope your planaria will be gone pretty soon too. I have them in my other 10G and in my 4.4 flat back hex too...they are annoying looking but I don't know how I can get them off. If you know how, please do let me know...common pond snails and planaria combo is my dilemma right now in both tanks.
