25 gal planted tank log - Aquarium Advice

Well we all knew I couldn't live forever with 4 tanks sitting dry.. I started up the 25 gal today with Schulz's aquatic soil. Messy stuff though. The main reason for starting up the tank is I got 6 small german blue angelfish, one large black veil, and 2 brown ancistrus plecos for $10.00 from a local breeder. The black angel and the silver angel do not get along in the 135. Goes to show that even the big tanks can't necessarily house 2 angels.

So begins the process. Here it is just after setup. In all it's cloudy glory.

A few hours later. The angel is added. No worries of cycling, I keep two filters on all my tanks so I can add a filter to any tank.

I've had him only a couple of days. He went into a 135 with two other angels, but even 135 gals couldn't stop aggression between the two big angels. So hence he gets his own tank.
