29gal Eclipse, making planted tank?

So, I have a 29 gallon Eclipse tank and I love it. So I just added a whole bunch of rock to it and now I want to get a bunch of live plants back behind those.

However, reading up I'm seeing that it could be better for planted tanks. So I'm wondering what I could do.

I think the bulbs are 18 watt and not special for plants or anything. My thought process is to get some floura-life 20 watt bulbs in there and I'll be at 40 watts and apparently some ideal plants lighting.

And then I would get something like this:

Assuming the T12 20w bulbs will fit, 40 watts will be enough for Anacharis and should be enough for the swords. Amazon Swords get huge, so just know it will eventually outgrow the tank.

Some other plant choices for that light are Anubias, Java fern, Wisteria, possibly Hornwort, and most Cryptocorynes. Wisteria and Hornwort are stem plants so would work behind your rocks. If you wanted, Anubias and Java fern would be good for on top of some rocks. They need to be attached to wood or rocks or just placed on the substrate. You can bury their roots, but not the rhizome (hard stem-like part).

Bulbs don't have to be 'for plants' inorder for them to work well for plants. Two 18 watt T-8 bulbs will put out more light then two 20 watt T-12's.

I run regular old T-8 philips bulbs over my 28 gallon tank and have it filled with plants.

If you don't like the looks of the bulbs, I highly suggest going to lowes and picking up some GE aquarium T-8 light bulbs. They are 5 or 6 dollars a piece and have a K value of 9325. Very nice looking to the eye and great for plants.
