55 gallon planted angel tank

So I tore down my 15 planted to just focus on my 55 gallon planted. It has no special substrate yet just pea gravel. But I do dose ferts.

2 german blue rams (unfortantly both males)
2 Angels

Cool! I'm really interested in GBRs and have some angels myself. How big are your angels?

they are tiny like two in max more like 1.5 in. And on the gbr's just watch them at the lfs and ask how long they have been there. Bc they are sensitive to change I work at the LFS and I watched them for 5 days since we got them to let them pair off but I still ended up with 2 males.

So I think future stock is gonna be
4 angels (atleast until they pair of or aggresion becomes an issue)
10-12 harlequin rasbora
2 GBRs (will get a third once we get more in and take back a male after they pair off)

and i think that will be it any suggestions? or concerns?

There are a few plants you can grow with ordinary lighting. My java fern is growing great.

more lighting the more plants you can keep but with regular you can do java fern and java moss and any other really low light plants

They are getting along great the gbrs are more afraid of their own shadow and hide out alot but they did that b4 too

Yea I may forget the third pair of angels for a pair of gbrs. The are pretty cool looking fish.

so i got a new tank today at petco from the $1 per gallon sale bc my old 55 is all scratched no brace and is starting to bow out. so i should be switching it all over this weekend. But this time im using pfs instead of pea gravel.

so new tank is still empty on the floor been to busy working at the lfs but ordered a new light it 3x54w t5 ho should be high light picked some root tabs and glass top at work and tommorow is my day off so hopefully it will go up tommorow

Ok so new light gets here tomorrow and got new driftwood and plants today and re scaped

so light finnaly came in and i got it setup but the lady is outta town with the camera so i will have to wait till she gets back later to take pics

Ok here are some crappy pics off my phone will get good pics up soon and right a good review soon as well my only complaint so far is the cheap legs tried some collide legs that look almost the same but are made of high quality plastic but the part that goes up to connect to the light is to short so the light won't close all the way so these won't work but will look for another solution
