Thanks. I havent really put any updated pics on there for awhile. Because Ive been neglecting my tank a bit. Due to being on the graveyard shift at work. Its kinda looking more like an under water jungle everyday. Ive been meaning to stop in at big al's, always good to see what new arrivals they get.. still havent got any discus yet though. I wana make sure I get the ones that I really want due to the price of them.. and the bigger the better.

I am on nights this week, so I stopped in at big al's yesterday afternoon to pick up some supplies. They only had 1 Discus left for sale. I think it was a royal blue, Or something like that anyway. They have a couple of big Oscars in there and a mating pair of Jaguars that are nice but to BIG.

Thanks Happy,

Yeah so I went out and got a couple new plants and 5 more ottos that same day.. forget what the plants are called.. One looks like a hornwort but red and bushy will look great once it fills out.. planning on removing the hygro in the back left corner and replacing it with that one once it gets big enough. I was told it needed really bright light so i moved it to the middle where there was no shade.. also I picked up a crypt.. but its the biggest crypt I ever saw.. has a stalk on it thicker than my swords.. with massive rooting.. had to make almost a 4 inch diameter hole to burry the sucker.. So for some reason my four aldolphoi cory cats neverrrr come out anymore.. Ive only seen two cant find the other two always way in the back behind my cave somewhere.. not even when its feeding time they dont come out front ever.. getting a little worried..

So I saw some awesome bucktooth tetras I wanted to get but i was quickly informed they usually school with pirannahas in the wild.. and on occasion eat them for a snack.. not to mention there teeth are so big they cant close there mouths.. so yeah I guess that wouldent have been a good idea.. lol... also they had FW tea cup stingrays.. I told they guy I was gonna get rid of all my fish and get one.. he asked how big my tank was.. "its a 75" told me unless you get one double the size I wont even consider selling you one.. haha.. someday maybe.. anywho.. guess ill go do my pwc now.. Im running out of room for plants and fish! I needs a bigger tank I tells ya.. When I move out of my rents house im definatly going to get a 150 for the living room of my new pad.. and turn the 75 into a marine tank! or vise versa .. well see

That's ok, you will want a bigger tank anyway when you get more into discus. Your tank is looking awesome.

I am considering doing the same thing....my fear is that once I get into the SW tanks I will let my planted tanks slide. I get all obsessed and such...lol. Wishing you all the best!
