for more info. I had a 20g long that made it to 1.005 sg or so, and the plants were surviving but not growing much, and algae became a problem. Are you planning on a low light or high light tank?
Well the tank I bought was a 15 gallon cube. It came with 30 watt compact fluorescent lighting so I guess it is a high light lank.I already researched the BW adaptable plants on plantgeek.net.Question...did you add CO2 to the tank?High light and no CO2 is the main cause of algae in planted aquariums.
I was adding co2, but it was a DIY 2liter into a powerhead, and it got neglected once in a while, so that was likely the cause of algae problems. I'd say to avoid that try to maintain a stable co2 level.
