any comments greatly appreciated just added new flourite and water is cloudy debate betqween my family on which will clear it up quicker( its a 55 g tank)

To be honest it will (should) clear overnight. Can't really rush it. But at a guess i'd say that more filteration will clean it quicker, as long as the outward flow does not disturb the ground.

mine cleared up within a few hours with filter on. Adding floss to the filter will help catch the fine particles/debris, then just remove once it's clear .

If it is really bad and lasts for a while I suggest getting a clarifier like seachem's clarity. It will bind the small particles so that they can be trapped by the filter easier. You will need to rinse the filter out very frequently since it will pick up the debris in no time.

it was so dirty like mud...that was 3 days ago today i put it in tis clear not just cloudy hopefully tomorrow...2 -30% pwc
